storyboard exercises
This page shows some storyboarding exercises I’ve created as practice for scene visualization. They are loosely illustrated and brief in length. They are mostly from my last year at RISD.
As I continue to learn more about screenwriting and film, I’ll continue to update this page with new exercises.

[untitled 2]
Short storyboard exercise inspired by Selkies in Scottish folklore. (2019)

Quiet, dark evening. Silhouette of a fisherman anchors his fishing raft and walks across the beach. Waves crashing in distance.

Suddenly, hears noise in the distance. There are Selkies on a nearby rock. Fade to black.

Selkies play in the ocean. Zoom out... A woman looks longingly out of a window.

Enter child. She has the man's golden hair. urgently, she tells her mother something.

Later, POV of the female Selkie as she escapes to the wide ocean. She sees her husband on his fishing boat and hesitates only briefly. She is never seen again.
